Scope and contact

This policy covers the SCMWC product website at scmwcscr.com and the SCMWC Windows application. The course-review service at map.scmwcscr.com has its own privacy policy. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to sjehd363960@gmail.com.

The website

You can read this website and download SCMWC without creating an account. SCMWC does not run its own analytics on this site. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, request time, security signals, and essential cookies to deliver and protect the site.

Advertising and cookies

This website uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, browser information, approximate location, and ad interactions to deliver, measure, limit, and protect advertising. Ads may be personalised or non-personalised depending on your region, consent, and settings.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in the Google partner-sites notice. You can manage advertising choices in Google Ads Settings and control or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking advertising cookies may change which ads you see but does not prevent you from using SCMWC.

Downloads and external services

Downloads, release notes, and issue reports are hosted on GitHub. If you follow those links, GitHub handles data under its own policy. VirusTotal is an optional third-party service suggested for independently scanning the installer; files submitted there are handled by VirusTotal and must not contain confidential information.

The Windows application

The SCMWC Windows application itself contains no analytics, behavioural tracking, or in-app advertising. It processes selected screen pixels on your computer and stores its settings locally. SCMWC does not send captured screen content to us.

If you choose to configure a Discord webhook, SCMWC sends the watched window title and notification reason to that webhook. Including a screenshot is optional and off by default. That transmission goes directly to Discord under your configuration and Discord's policies. Do not monitor or transmit information you are not authorised to access, especially workplace, personal, or confidential material.

Retention, security, and your choices

SCMWC does not maintain user accounts or a first-party visitor database for this website. Hosting, advertising, GitHub, VirusTotal, and Discord providers retain information according to their own policies. You may avoid optional integrations, decline or restrict cookies where controls are available, remove the local application and settings, and contact us about information we control. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children and changes

This service is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required in their country, and we do not knowingly collect account data from children. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
